On our way up to the Sagrada Familia, the famous 130 yr old unfinished cathedral, the lift operator said that this lift brings us up but we’ll have to take the stairs down and pls do not jump down. Had a lil emo moment leaving the man last night as I didn’t wanna leave sth so familiar but when I think of the interesting encounters that I’ll have travelling solo, I skipped away and waved goodbye. Here I am in a cozy apt in Budapest having my takeaway dinner and sipping the best champaign in the c’try that the host has given me as a welcome gift.
